See I am doing a New Thing!...

I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. -Isaiah 43:19

🧡 Message from Luke & Eva,

The Harbor House journey over the last 12 years has truly been a labor of love—from the moment God planted this vision in our hearts, to His miraculous provision of a home in Hart, for every young women He chose to be part of our family and for all the women in our community who have gathered & be encouraged in the spirit of hospitality. Our doors have been open with the express goal to share the love of Christ. All who we have been blessed to share our lives with, truly have a forever home in our hearts. God has woven us together and our joined stories will continue to be written. A special thank you to each of you who have encouraged, prayed for, and supported us through the years in SO MANY ways. God has done Great Things because of how well you have loved your neighbor

Dear friends, God is unfolding a new path now for us to follow in answer to our daily prayer, “God use this place for your Glory!” Our hearts are sure that it is now time to pass the pen and let more stories be written by the hands & hearts of another ministry. So with the approval of a unified board and our full blessing as a couple, Elevate Oceana will acquire The Harbor House of Hart this June (2024) in order to launch a faith-based, Women’s Recovery Program with residential services. We are so excited to see what this passionate team of women (and men) will implement to meet women’s needs in our community through the resources God established during the ministry years of The Harbor House. This road we have walked all these years was intended to end here. For such a time as this, our hearts are so grateful for God’s perfect peace & timing. Pray now for both ministries as we move towards this unified goal!

🧡 Message from Jenn Stitt & Elevate Oceana,

Elevate Oceana would like to thank The Harbor House for their commitment to women in our community. In 2014 The Harbor House was founded with a vision to bring hope and guidance to young women at risk. They provided stable housing and support to these young women giving them a place of safe harbor and hope.

In 2021 Elevate Oceana was founded by men in the community, seeking to help fellow men needing a place of refuge. To give them a safe environment for rehabilitation, steps of freedom to restore broken relationships, and an opportunity to be reintegrated back into our community. Two homes were purchased next to The Harbor House for this freedom ministry.

In March of 2024 a clear decision was made that Elevate would acquire The Harbor House with the purpose of becoming a female counterpart to the houses already run for men by Elevate Oceana. In doing so, the vision begun by The Harbor House will be carried forward by Elevate Oceana as we initiate a Women’s Recovery Program in Oceana County that will continue giving women of all ages a place of refuge and hope.

Elevate Oceana’s vision and intent is to support and encourage both men & women through these home-based programs; providing a safe environment where healthy and meaningful relationships can grow, gainful employment obtained, with the support of a dependable and caring faith-based network wrapped around each participant every step of the way!

“Praise God! To Him be the Glory!”
